Department of Energy publishes detailed LED streetlight reports from Round 11 of CALiPER testing

The U.S. Department of Energy has published detailed reports of outdoor LED lighting performance in the eleventh round of testing conducted by the Commercially Available LED Product Evaluation and Reporting (CALiPER) program. The Round 11 report makes available specific test results performed by CALiPER and features a side-by-side comparison of selected manufacturers’ claims and actual CALiPER test results. Some of the test results include correlated color temperature (CCT), color rendering index (CRI), and luminous efficacy.
The manufacturers of outdoor area roadway LED streetlights in Round 11 testing included: Seesmart LED, KIM Lighting, Hadco, LSI Industries, Lighting Science Group Corporation, and Clean Light Green Light. The report also included two post top outdoor area LED lights manufactured by Philips Lumec and Precision Paragon.
