Royal Palm Beach, Florida, seeks bids for GE Evolve LED streetlights

The Village of Royal Palm Beach, Florida, has issued an Invitation to Bid for the purchase and delivery of LED streetlight fixtures. The projected number of LED streetlights is estimated to be 78. The successful bidder will be required to supply all labor and equipment for this installation. The project is funded by a grant from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).

 

The bid document specifies fixtures two styles of GE Evolve fixtures manufactured by GE Lighting Solutions of East Cleveland, Ohio. Photometric requirements include a correlated color temperature (CCT) of 5,700 Kelvin and lumen output of 5,400 lumens. For the project installation, 62 of the GE Evolve LED fixtures must have a single optical assembly and 16 of the GE Evolve LED fixtures must have a double optical assembly.

 

Complete bids must be submitted to the Village of Royal Palm Beach by Wednesday, January 11, 2012. Bids must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a certified bank check in the amount of no less than 5 percent of the bid price.
