Small Indiana municipalities receive $900,000 in stimulus funds for LED streetlights

The state of Indiana has announced the second round of Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) awards to be used for LED streetlight replacement projects.
EECBG awards are funded by the U.S. Department of Energy and are administered locally by the Indiana Office of Energy Development. The second round of awards is for cities and towns with populations less than 35,000 and counties with populations less than 200,000.
