Initiative Install approximately 104 decorative LED streetlight fixtures on Ryan Street – traditional downtown area of Lake Charles
Pilot City tested LED streetlight fixtures and metal halide streetlights as part of a demonstration project on Ryan Street. Citizen and municipal input was sought.
Long term initiative Develop a green initiative for the city which includes LED streetlights. Plans include Ryan Streetscape (based on funding) and the city is also evaluating LED streetlights for the interstate bridge in Lake Charles
