Initiative

 City is evaluating the option to purchase utility owned and

 maintained streetlights and conducting an analysis to

 determine correct lighting needs and levels. City owns and

 maintains about 120 streetlights, rest are utility owned and

 maintained.

 

Long term initiative

 If city decides to purchase utility-owned streetlights, and

 purchase and install energy efficient streetlights, a Request

 for Proposals will be issued
