The group has a broad spectrum of professional experiences from the worlds of public policy, lighting science, lighting design and development, manufacturing, and technology investment.

 

Editor-in-Chief

Helen Vydra Roy is a public policy expert and has a wealth of experience in meeting the information needs of diverse stakeholders in fast-changing, emerging technology sectors.

 

Contributors

Kevin Gauna is a materials scientist and LED illumination expert who has developed off grid outdoor LED systems and worked for the California Lighting Technology Center.

 

Jim Phillips is a product development professional with over 20 years of experience and has developed award winning LED lighting products.

 

Jashojit Roy has fostered the growth of emerging technologies at a broad range of innovative firms as well as the National Institute of Standards and Technology.

 

Trevor Strudley is a civil engineer and program manager who understands the complex challenges of deploying new technologies into municipal infrastructures.
