The US DOE’s Municipal Solid State Street Lighting Consortium (MSSLC) has scheduled a 90 minute webinar focused on maintenance practices for LED streetlights. According to the MSSLC, the webinar will address issues related to maintenance and reliability of LED streetlights and how to plan for and transition to LED streetlights.
The webinar is scheduled for Monday, April 14, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Pacific Time. There will be a 60 minute presentation followed by a 30 minute question-and -answer session.
Presenters include Glenn Cooper (City of Boston), Stephen Crume (City of Seattle), and Patrick Batte (City of Las Vegas). Each will discuss field experiences, lessons learned, and will also review failure rates and failure modes as experienced in their respective cities.
