The United States Department of Energy Solid-State Lighting Program is scheduled to host a 90-minute webinar on the topic of Pedestrian-Friendly Nighttime Lighting on Tuesday, November 19, 2013. The webinar, presented by Naomi Miller of the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, will cover a range of topics including color rendering, safety, and adaptation. The webinar will also address which metrics to consider when evaluating LED streetlights, the look of pedestrian-friendly LED lighting, and visibility at night.
The webinar begins at 1:00 p.m. ET (10:00 a.m. PT) and will include a 60-minute presentation followed by a 30-minute question-and-answer session.
